I produce pieces of art that enhance spaces and environments, create ambience and invite interest.

 

My work depicts abstract interpretations of skies, landscapes, botanics and the elements. I draw upon my instinctive, personal bond with nature and the cosmos to create, in each piece, an expression of this relationship.

 

Whilst the natural world is my predominant creative inspiration; I am also influenced and assisted by my background in design.

 

Colour, depth, movement and light provide the foundation to a piece of my work and using mixed media allows me a variety of methods with which to produce it, although I paint predominantly with oil for its richness and consistency. Metallic and resin finishes are used to enhance the light in my compositions and to create a unique visual effect.
